Personal Statement: "Growing up with sickle cell anemia in a low-income household, I saw firsthand how damaging labels could be. Many around me faced psychological barriers that made them believe their circumstances, poverty, abuse, or illness were insurmountable. 

Thankfully, my mother's belief in me reshaped my self-perception. I learned that adversity does not define you, rather it prepares you to create the life you desire! 

I wanted to pass this mindset forward, so every child has the power to build the life that they desire. "

Personal Statement:  "From a young age, I struggled with reading, often feeling frustrated and left behind in the classroom. It wasn’t until I sought help from a tutor that not only strengthened my literacy skills but also ignited a passion for learning and perseverance!

By providing personalized support, encouragement, guidance and resources, I want to ensure that no child feels alone in their educational journey, and should embrace every challenge as a reason for growth."
