

MIRR Mentors is a youth-led and fiscally sponsored nonprofit that encourages local D.C. students, aged 13-18 to pursue advanced coursework, engage in academic extracurriculars and pursue higher education.
Through structured programming, including weekly mentorship sessions, career panels with professionals, identity-affirming activities, Social Emotional Learning (SEL) practices, STEM and career preparation workshops, and individualized tutoring, MIRR Mentors empowers students to become become confident, motivated learners prepared to succeed academically and pursue higher education and career opportunities.
By pairing students with mentors who share similar backgrounds and experiences, we provide both guidance and tangible examples of academic success, helping youth envision and achieve their full potential.
